In recent years, there have been many related studies on APOS theory domestic scholars. However,APOS theory is often used in the teaching of mathematical concepts, and it is rarely used in problem solving teaching. At present, the teaching activities of middle school mathematics problem solving still appear as so-called The “Ticks and Tactics” problem has become a topic. Therefore, this paper tries to use APOS theory as a guide to conduct related research on the teaching of geometric questions. This article uses the literature method, interview method, experiment method.APOS theory divides mathematics teaching into four phases: operation, process, object and schema. This article is divided into two parts: theory and practice. The first half describes how to use APOS theory to solve problems in geometry teaching, focusing on the theoretical interpretation of the four stages of operations, processes, objects and icons in the sense of teaching the meaning of plane geometry to solve the exact meaning From the perspective of APOS theory, the purpose and purpose of each problem set are elaborated in detail. In the latter part, the control experiment method is used to select two classes for comparison test, mainly using the angle bisector and the completion of the whole class as the contrasting content. The experiment is to verify that the APOS theory can bring about the improvement of teaching efficiency, develop students problem-solving abilities, and finally obtain corresponding data and conclusions according to experiments. Two conclusions are obtained through the study of this paper.First, the use of APOS theory for geometry question group teaching can improve students' achievement.Second, the teaching of geometry question group under the guidance of APOS theory can improve students' ability to solve problems.
