In the process of mathematics teaching and research, the study of mathematical concept at the core, the concept of learning directly affects students’ learning mathematics, at the same time affect students mathematical thinking and innovative ability. To optimize the design of the concept teaching is important link of improving the quality of the middle school mathematics teaching.At the request of the new curriculum reform, also some changes have taken place in the examination reform, attention to the cultivation of students’ ability. Junior high school plane geometry value geometric reasoning, and in the junior middle school students from the initial contact geometry reasoning to the formation of reasoning ability is a long-term process, students learn plane geometry to prove that there are certain difficulties. In order to strengthen the students’ learning ability in plane geometry, the first step in learning how to geometry concept learning do solid, how to strengthen the concept of learning for middle school students’ understanding of the concepts of geometric and application, become the urgent task in front of middle school mathematics education workers. Many junior middle school mathematics teachers in the teaching process for effective teaching design, improve the concept of class teaching mode.This article is under the APOS theory, to optimize the design of the concept of plane geometry teaching and guidance of the concept of plane geometry teaching process. Concept of plane geometry teaching design must first based on students’ cognitive psychological characteristics, through the activities, teaching demonstration, visual characteristics of the students’ team cooperation concept, the essential characteristics of abstract concepts, further thinking of the concept of variable type, accurately grasp the new concept, the formation of the concept of application phase; Through subsequent refining summary of plane geometry teaching students language text of the concept of object, the object of symbolic language, graphic language, to form the object of the concept of phase; Finally through class preliminary scheme and the late contact old knowledge concept system, eventually form a new concept in your mind "graphic" model of the stage. Based on this theory, combining with case illustrates the concept of APOS theory of plane geometry teaching design, using the concept of teaching activities, programs, objects, three stages of the statistics, illustrates the involvement of students under the theory of design and understanding of the concept of case, at the same time by the student to the homework problems completion and accuracy of the statistics, questionnaire survey was conducted after the student to study the plane geometric concepts, these results further illustrate the present APOS theory of geometrical concept teaching in middle school is carried out in the teaching. Through this article research, hope that provides a useful reference of teaching for junior high school teachers,provides some Suggestions for the teaching.
