Since the beginning of new century,there have been many achievements in research on middle school Chinese teaching.However,the academic community has not systematically combed them.This study will analyze the papers about research on middle school Chinese teaching from 2000 to 2015 in CNKI database by using the method of bibliometrics and visualization.On the basis of a series of statistics,induction,summary and comparison,it comprehensively,objectively and visually presents the current status of research on middle school Chinese teaching.This paper belongs to the category of research on subject's present status,aiming to objectively describe the status of research on middle school Chinese teaching,explore the research front and find the research problem so as to promote the standardization of research.It has a certain theoretical value and practical significance to the research on middle school Chinese teaching.This study mainly investigates the current situation of research on middle school Chinese teaching and analyzes the overall development of it.The main tasks to be finished are as follows.First,comb the overall overview of research on middle school Chinese teaching.Second,analyze the publication and project funding of research on middle school Chinese teaching.Third,investigate the topic and the current spreading situation of research on middle school Chinese teaching.The value of this study mainly includes: accurately summarizing and describing the overall situation of research on middle school Chinese teaching,promoting the scientification and standardization of it as well as extracting hot spots and trends of research.In this study,the features are embodied in the following three aspects.First is the research content: this study fully describes the development of research on middle school Chinese teaching since the new century with research on middle school Chinese teaching from 2000 to 2015 as the research content.Second is the research method: this study introduces the method of bibliometrics and visualization into the field of research on middle school Chinese teaching.Third is the technical way: this study regards CNKI as the data source and the retrieved and sorted literature can basically represent the overall status of research on middle school Chinese teaching.In short,research on middle school Chinese teaching has made continuous development.The quantity of paper shows the richness of researchers' achievements in the field of middle school Chinese teaching,presenting the situation of vigorous development.However,it also has some problems.In 2014 and 2015,the quantity of papers is decreased and research arrives the weak point.Research on middle school Chinese teaching is less funded by the fund project.There are a small number of core authors and senior researchers and lack of professional researchers.There are few professional and core journals about research on middle school Chinese teaching.The research content mainly focuses on teaching materials,reading teaching and writing teaching,which is repeat with narrow coverage.The main reasons are as follows.First,the researchers in the field of research on middle school Chinese teaching,especially the middle school Chinese teachers are with limited ability of academic research,reluctant to make teaching practice and pay less attention and input to the research on teaching,so the quality is not high.Second,the relevant researchers has a lack of focus on the research on middle school Chinese teaching with inadequate research depth and professionalism.Third,the state gives limited material and policy support to the research on middle school Chinese teaching,and education departments and schools have a lower demand for teachers' teaching and research ability.All of these are closely related to the low quality of research on middle school Chinese teaching.All in all,the researchers of middle school Chinese should improve the ability of academic research,increase the depth and breadth of study so as to improve the quality of research.Besides,the country need to enlarge its input to research on middle school Chinese teaching.
