With the rapid development of higher vocational education,missions of higher vocational education in our nation has showed diverse dimension of culture inheritance,which also sets a higher demand for vocational college teachers' performance management.For instance,missions of vocational education have transformed from simple education and teaching to talent cultivation,scientific research and social service.Additionally,current performance management system for vocational colle ge teachers has not met the increasing need of teacher performance appraisal management.Thereby,it is imperative to figure out how to highlight the strategic goal from university perspective in terms of teaching,science and research and management to find a more comprehensive and systematic appraisal method.In the above sense,layout of this dissertation is as follows.This dissertation starts with introduction of general situation of vocational college teachers' performance appraisal management system.Additionally,related significant concepts and relevant domestic and overseas predecessors' study are reviewed.Secondly,it illustrates the college development and issues of current teacher performance appraisal management system from G College in Hebei perspective and reasons of those issues are analyzed.According to balance score card,a strategic performance management system,characteristic indicators set on the basis of its four dimensions which are finance,customer,internal process and learning a nd growth.Moreover,on the basis of expert interview and questionnaire,every index weight in the balance score card is confirmed by comparison between two primary indexes and weighted average secondary indexes by indicator order.In this regard,a proper teacher performance appraisal management system are expected to be established,which is suitable for university overall strategic objectives and philosophy of school management of college G in Hebei.Last but not least,implementation methods of balance score card in the vocational college performance appraisal management system,conclusion of findings and limitations are summarized.Meanwhile,relevant recommendations are made.This research aims to implement balance score card in the performance appraisal management system of vocational college teache rs.It is vital to set specific indicators of each dimension and weight of each indicator,in order to set up an adaptable teacher performance management system.Moreover,the core of implementation is leadership attention,campus culture construction,jus tice and equity principles and well-established balance score card system with timely adjusted indicators and weight of indicators.In order to put balance score card into effect in the vocational college teacher appraisal management system,a sound performance appraisal system is essential,which has profound effect on the strategic objective of higher vocational colleges.
