Design And Implementation Of The Tripartite Voice Conference System

Voice gateway, as the intermediate equipment to connet the traditional PSTN network and IP network, meet the needs of the enterprise voice calls and save a lot of their costs. However, ordinary voice calls can not meet people's all kinds of feature needs during the call. Thus, the internship company's voice gateway products have maintained call waiting, call holding, call forwarding and multi-service features.And, for my job, the realization of a tripartite meeting business makes the voice gateway products to gain greater market competitiveness.Tripartite meeting is designed for the need of multi- session inside the enterprise, and it needs to cooperate with other related feature businesses, such as call waiting, call hold,multi-maintain business and so on. Due to hardware resources are limited, one voice gateway only supports processing a mixed of three-way voice data calling. But it can achieve tht multi-party session function by cascading multiple voice gateways.Internship company's voice gateway has a good voice module architecture, which includes call management center, dial-up policy modules, media control module and protocol module, the voice services designed and developed by this paper are based on them.Difficulties realization of this project is that it needs to cooperate with the existing voice services of platform and Achieve it's own functions at the same time. It needs as much as possible reuse of existing voice services, and Compatible with their function without error. In addition, the design of tripartite meeting cascade function is also one of the difficulties.The design and implemention for tripartite meeting feature of this system does not treat the PSTN and IP networks differently,and it makes the system have more extensive application scenarios. Experimental results show that different codecs voice data in this system can be mixed correctly, and the different voice services can work together well.
