Abstract/Summary:
With the improvement of industrial manufacture process, people’s requirement for products’ quality is increasing. In the process of backlight module manufacture,inspecting products depend on traditional manual method is inefficient with high missing rate and high labor intensity caused by working condition, workers’ subjective consciousness, physical fitness and so on. So manual inspection is out of date and can’t meet people’s requirement for high quality products. The development of machine vision technology in recent years provide a solution to this problem. In order to replace manual inspection to achieve fast, accurate and efficient backlight module surface defects inspection, this article designs an auto backlight module surface defects inspection device based on technology.The function of the machine is mainly composed of electric control, organization,machine vision, and software. In the function of electric control aspect, we choosing Siemens S7-300 PLC as the core of electric control from many PLC on the market,finally. The PLC not only connected to the electrical components, but also with a serial port(RS- 232 protocol) to connected to industrial computer and robot.Implementation of the software and hardware run at the same time, and ensure the equipment can normally operation in the high complexity of work environment.The model of industrial robot we choosed is EPSON LS3-401-S. it not only realizes the automatic up-down material for testing materials, and solves the secondary pollution problem of backlight module in the process of testing man-mades. Based on machine vision technology,the equipment use the industrial camera, and assisted by the image processing program. Finally we completed a software of backlight module automation detection is based on the MFC. the function of the software on the one hand is to realize the operator for real-time monitoring of production, on the other hand is to detect the data and record analysis.According to the test result: the inspection speed of this device is up to800pieces/h, the inspection precision is 0.025*0.025, the missing rate of inspection islower than 2%.
