| The purpose of the soil moisture monitoring is to identify the effects of soil condition on crops.The soil moisture automatic monitoring system can effectively save water,meanwhile it can also irrigate the plants in time according their demands.This design provides a strong management method which can meet the requirements of farmland irrigation and water conservation.Based on the actual application requirements,functional analysis,and Zigbee wireless network,this paper analyzes the soil moisture monitoring system.Data acquisition,remote data transmission,and real-time monitoring of the soil moisture can be realized by this system.This system is composed of data acquisition,data sensor nodes,Zigbee wireless network and PC monitoring software.The sensor nodes is used for data acquisition,transmission of the soil moisture.Meanwhile,through the GPRS module,data can be uploaded to the Internet server from which users can monitor the remote data in real time.MSP430F149 is used as micro-controller to realize real-time data acquisition,including air temperature、air humidity、soil temperature and soil moisture.The ultra-low power JN5139,as transmission nodes of wireless network,is used to build multiple acquisition terminal wireless transmission network.Then data is sent to the coordinator node though Zigbee terminal nodes or the router nodes.The data received by coordinator nodes is sent to GPRS though RS232.The data about the soil moisture received by the GPRS module is sent to the monitoring software on the remote server,and eventually the remote data transmission of soil moisture is realized.The purpose of PC monitoring software is to receive the data and deal with them,then display them in real-time,it can also display the past data.The another function of the PC monitoring software is to set alarm according to the threshold. |
