| Location information service plays an important role in people’s daily life. With the development of information technology, there will be a great demand for this service. Location information service provides navigation and positioning function, including outdoor and indoor navigation and positioning.For the time being, the outdoor navigation and positioning, for example GPS, has been very mature, and widely used. However, the Beidou navigation system is still not ideal. In addition, the research and development of indoor navigation and positioning technology is not mature enough yet. It is still in the early stage. Outdoor and indoor navigation and positioning are closely. However, a platform which integrates indoor and outdoor navigation and positioning system is absent.This paper attempts to make indoor and outdoor navigation technology integrated completely, in order to design a seamless indoor and outdoor navigation and positioning system`s demonstration platform. To achieve this goal, the paper did the following work.First, a server, which is based on the open source GPS tracking system Traccar, with the GWT framework is set up to provide Web service. So that ordinary users can surf on the internet to observe the positioning terminal which is displayed on Google Maps or other digital maps.Second, we develop an Android Application. Its duty is collecting and uploading the GPS coordinates and indoor location information of the terminal.At last, we design an antenna of Beidou navigation, which helps to achieve the purpose of making location terminal smaller.Through all of this work, the system is a good demonstration of seamless indoor and outdoor navigation and positioning technology. |
