| The radar transmitter simulator for passive location can simulate several radar signals on single signal generation, and add time difference between the several channels to simulate a complete set of time difference location system, which provides a convenient and stable experimental platform for the verification and testing of the time difference localization algorithm. In order to ensure the time difference between the radar signals generated by the simulator with practical significance, we assume the coordinates of the four observation stations which the four channels simulated and the coordinates of the target position when setting parameters in the upper computer, and then calculate the radial distance between the target and the observation stations, in this way, the simulator ensures the parameters accord with reality. The radar simulator is designed with the combination of software and hardware, it can produce any signal which is needed for test, and at the same time, it can be easily improved because of its modular design structure. The radar signal simulator can realize different radar signal indicators, simulate all kinds of radar signals such as, early warning radar, search warning radar, command radar, gun aiming radar, battlefield surveillance radar, airborne radar etc. Meanwhile, it can also simulate many kinds of radar signals, like the pulse radar signal, continuous wave radar signal, pulse compression radar signal, frequency agile radar and so on.The radar transmitter simulator for passive location is based on the DSP and FPGA hardware platform, with the advantages of small size, low power consumption, and the upper computer supply a convenient man-machine interactive platform, with which can settle the parameters easily and achieve real-time monitoring of the whole system. The main research work is as follows:1. A brief introduction is made on the time difference location system, including the building of the time difference location model, and the general method of solving the time difference location in the two-dimensional and three-dimensional condition.2. A brief introduction of the radar system, and describe the basic types of radar signals and the radar signal waveform parameters, analyze the basic characteristics of common radar signals, and determine the basic requirements of the design according to the application situation and system status.3. Software and hardware design of The radar transmitter simulator for passive location. Firstly, describe the basic framework and structure of the simulator, analyze the work flow; then, describe the basic hardware structure and other analog circuit modules of DSP and FPGA in detail; at last, analyze the whole software design of DSP and FPGA, especially analyze the method of data transmission by SPI in DSP part, and the basic principle of direct digital frequency synthesis technology in FPGA part, finally, show the way setting time differences between the channels.4. Complete the measurement of various indicators of the radar signal simulator with oscilloscope and spectrum analyzer. Focus on the results of the time difference, the number of radar, radar waveform, the pulse width and pulse repetition period, and make brief analysis of the results. |
