As the best renewable energy,small hydroelectric generating units enjoy the most mature technology and the economy.Carrying out online monitoring system for hydro generator unit of rural small hydropower,can effectively improve the efficiency of units through the vibration information analysis,which can provide a reliable auxiliary means for economic production and safe operation of hydropower station,as well as a practical guiding significance for the development of rural hydropower.Turbine hydropower station is a power conversion device,its running state is related to the ability of hydropower station if it can supply security and economic efficiency or not.For the current development and application of the technology of rural small hydropower turbine generator,achieving low cost,high efficiency of the online monitoring system,improve the operation and maintenance in advance and in pertinence,is essential for the development of small hydropower in rural areas.This paper discussed the significance and purpose of online monitoring system,gave a detailed description of the current domestic and foreign research status of small hydropower turbine,laid the theoretical basis and thinking direction for the hardware and software design.The current status of small hydropower lies with small units,small capacity,easy installation and commissioning.Because of the vibration that small hydropower generated has small impact on the grid,people paid little attention to this kind of hydropower in the actual production.Ignoring the vibration problems,together with the frequent vibration problems due to the unideal design conditions,lead to low production efficiency of small hydropower station.According to the vibration problem of the hydro generator unit,monitoring platform in data acquisition and analysis technology has been quite mature.Basically,determining the source of vibration is depend on the spectrum analysis of vibration information.Because of the characteristics of each hydropower station,the solutions are not the same for each unit,as well as there are not much research results run the problem of unit optimization operation.However,the price of the products is relatively high domestically and abroad,a low cost online monitoring system is proposed.This on-line monitoring system of low-cost hydroelectric generating units use frequency domain and time domain this two aspects to analyze and find the trend and law of vibration.Through state analysis,the pre diagnosis is realized.Thus maintenance stations can get accurate judgment and timely maintenance,as well as reducing the economic losses and potential safety hazard of hydropower station.Designing based on the hardware and software structure of the systems such as vibration data acquisition,data transmission and database establishment,hydro turbine generating unit operation information could be visualized.Through the diagnosis and early warning function of expert system,on-line monitoring for hydroelectric generating units is achieved,so as to the development of intelligent operation for rural small hydropower station.Based on the system design above,this paper takes the practical application in Guangxi Sancha hydropower station as an example.The experimental results show that the feasibility of the system.Through calculation and analysis of the monitoring data,the application system effectively helps the crew to improve operational efficiency,provides reliable auxiliary means for the safety production and efficiency improvement of hydropower station,which also has a certain practical significance on the development of rural small hydropower.Finally,the article summarizes the research results of this paper,discusses the system problems that remain to be improved and also makes prospect for the next step of research work.
