Multi-node Cluster Exchange E-mail System

With the development of network, e-mail gradually becomes a necessary tool for peoples' work and life, so more and more businesses attach importance to e-mail system and regard it as an important tool while not only can show companies' image but also is good for business' s communication. In order to solve the problem of communication between China Unicom internal and to achieve the integration of various platforms, headquarters and some provinces have established a unified e-mail system, that causing e-mail between Hainan and other provinces suffix inconsistent and e-mail system is low, so it is bad for companies' development. It is very anxious to construct Hainan's e-mail system that is same to headquarters of China Unicom. The paper research and implement multi-node clustered Exchange e-mail system in order to meet the different needs of Hainan Unicom.Unified mailbox system uses secondary structure. The e-mail between the Group and the provincial companies transfers through DCN network. This sys tem can provide an efficient and stable communication platform for all employees in Hainan Unicom by using Microsoft technology. This issue not only achieves a system that is based on messaging but also establishes a unified address book and unified directory. We use unified e-mail suffix and unified account in this issue so we can solve office problems in the process of internal coordination radically. The office efficiency and the level of the whole group of companies will be improved by building the unified mailbox system.This paper describes a multi-node clustered Exchange server while is based on Microsoft Windows platform. When we describe the process of building the entire e-mail system we put focus on the mailbox's configuring and e-mail system platform's configuring. We calculate a variety of data in the unified e-mail system. This unified e-mail system is described vividly by function module, by the system structure or by the configuration procedures etc. The establishment of the e-mail server platform includes the established of Active Directory, the established of server cluster, the division of storage system, e-mail system and e-mail's security system.
