With the coming of the Post-PC-Era, Tablet and Android OS become more and more popular. At the same time, the theft rate of Tablets also increases year by year. Many people have stored the personal privacy data on a tablet computer, it’s very important to protect the personal privacy data without revealing, and to find the device after stealing. But currently there is lack of such anti-theft application. It’s hardly to find the device after stealing.To solve this problem and challenge, this article analyzes the Android system, then researches the anti-theft technical of tablet computer, and designs a better anti-theft solution of tablet computer, finally develop the system. The anti-theft system includes theft detection, device locking, device unlocking and GPS location. It could protect the data, and improve the probability of finding the device.Firstly, this paper analyzes the status and android related technologies. Secondly, designs the anti-theft system which includes anti-theft detection sub-system and anti-theft management sub-system. Client system adopt C/S structure, design for Client is the core of the article. Data protection is based on TPM technology. Anti-theft mode is embedded in boot loader process of system. GPS and network development is based on Linux driver. Server system adopt B/S structure, implement device management and certification management by using Web Server, implement device monitor and map display by GPS terminal monitoring platform system.Then this paper researches on key technologies of Anti-theft system. 1) Realize Anti-theft solution based on TPM chip, which has improved a lot of security; 2) Propose the reliable detection technology to make device more safety; 3) Use GPS and Network technology to find the device; 4) Apply hash encryption algorithm to achieve safe and reliable unlock control technology.Finally, system function testing and performance testing are performed. Test results show that the Anti-theft system could be operated in X86 Tablet computer with TPM chip, and could support multiple devices run in parallel at the same time. The desired goal has been reached.
