With the continuous develop ment of mobile communication technology, the mobile Internet has been widely used in our daily life. Nowadays, mobile phone can not only be used to make voice calls, but also in processing personal information service. As people have been accustomed to sto re their personal information in mobile phones, once a phone is lost or some important information is stolen by others, not only trouble and security issues will be brought to the users, but also the user’s friends will be disturbed. In addition, mobile users of Android phones are often bothered by spam messages and harassing phone cal s, which seriously affects their daily lives.Regarding such security issues of mobile phones, some Android softwares have been developed on the market, however, there are some disadvantages of these products: 1) Relatively simple functions on mobile anti- theft and privacy protection; 2) Data return by remote controlling is not provided, and therefore the user’s personal data can not be retrieved; 3) Self-security is not guaranteed by these softwares since they can be easily recognized and uninstalled. Therefore, it’s of great significance to design and develop a mobile anti- theft and privacy protection Android software which is safe, reliable and with complete function.Based on the analysis of related security softwares on Android platform, this paper tried to combine the functionalities of mobile anti-theft, privacy protection and remote control, and has developed an Android mobile anti-theft and privacy protection software by taking into account the security of the software itself. The software has the following characteristics: 1) Full functionality. The software provides mobile anti-theft functionalities including card changed notice, screen lock, anti-theft alarm, mobile phone positioning, unlock photographing, data destruction, and other advanced functions such as phone monitoring, SMS monitoring, remote recording and remote photographing. Furthermore, some privacy protection function is also implemented including harassment interception, program lock, private space and data backup; 2) Data security. Function of remote controlling the mobile phone to transfer the user’s data to a safe mailbox is implemented, data protection including anti-theft data, backup data and private data; 3) Software reliability. Functions of software concealment and anti-uninstall are implemented to ensure normal and stable operation.The Android mobile anti-theft and privacy protection software developed in this paper is proved to have reached the expected design objective, and be able to run normally and stably. This software provides necessary assistance for the mobile users, and greatly improves the security of Android phones.
