With the development of space technology, the detection range of outer space is also expanding. Because of the high risk and high cost of deep space exploration, the researchers must proof the feasibility of the scheme before the implementation of the scheme. Computer simulation has been used to simulate the scheme of space communication. But compared to the development of deep space communication technology, the development of computer simulation technology in deep space communication is obviously lagging behind. Most of the simulation software can not simulate the deep space environment accurately, it also can not achieve the requirement of the customized development.In order to make up for the shortcomings of the existing simulation software, this paper intends to design a simulation platform which can simulate the deep space communication environment. It also can support the simulation of scene and protocol with little restrict. It also can display the simulation result from the perspective of system reliability and validity. This platform is based on OSGI(Service Gateway Initiative Open), which is the foundation of the whole platform. It can guarantee the whole simulation platform is stable and efficient. At the same time, from the summary and induction of deep space communication protocol, this paper designs and implements a communication simulation framework based on discrete event mechanism. Compared to other simulation framework, the framework of the simulation is more accuracy and efficiency.Through the interaction with Tool Kit Satellite(STK), the creation of deep space simulation scene is realized by this paper. The simulation scenarios can truly reflect the features of the deep space link, such as the long delay, high bit error rate, and frequent interruption.Finally, in order to verify the reliability of the simulation platform, this paper set the Earth-Mars communication and image file transmission as the background. It simulates the CFDP protocol based on the different simulation scenes and different transmission delay. The simulation result of the platform is displayed from the perspective of file transmission. This paper compared the simulation result and theoretical result in the same condition. The result of comparison verified the reliability of the simulation platform.
