With the developm ent of infor mation technology, adopting an advanced inform ation management system to m anage information scientifically is becom ing the dev elopment tendency for college inform ation system. The system is aimed at the characteristics of laboratory materials management, based on a three-tier architecture built for use in university laboratory materials management system, from the perspective of ordinary registered user, you can B/S m ode of invent ory materials were borrowed application and return to achieve the dynam ic management of materials management system. From the perspective of inventory m anagement, managers can for the entire materials m anagement system for system management, inventory information at any tim e statistics, d irectional restocking regularly updated laboratory equipment and distributionThe laboratory materials management system can make administrators more convenient to manage the materials and systematically manage those goods through the network. The system is based on B/S structure which supports laboratory manager, ordinary registered users and administrators to search projects, statisti c, borrow and return m aterials. Other users can also scan two-dim ensional code infor mation on item s and item s belonging to track basic information and understanding of the proce ss of post-m aintenance can also m odify information stored in the two-dimensional code for better management of goods.The system adopts the SSH technology, mainly focuses on the dif ferent requirements of ordinary registered users and ad ministrators. The main content of the paper is divided into four parts, including research significance, need analysis, overall design and implementation. This paper mainly focuses on the need analysis and overall design, and then simply introduces the development tools and technology.
