| In recent years,the rapid development of Internet technology is followed by variety forms of new network applications.The structure of the network model,from the original C/S,B/S mode to P2P mode.Because of its technical advantages,P2P makes the user very easy access to the necessary resources in order to attract more and more users.According to a statistics,P2P applications account for more than 60%of the network traffic,in order to effectively monitor and analyze network bandwidth usage,prevent excessive use of network traffic such as BT download and network television,we proposed a small network environment suitable for LAN and other network traffic control system to achieve in this paper.This thesis focuses on the study of P2P traffic identification.It firstly reviews the principles of P2P technology and current status of P2P traffic identification methods,and then deeply studies the DPI technology and the traffic feature detection technology.During the study of DPI technology,the thesissummarizes the principles of designing signatures and the methods of designing signatures;according to the above principles and methods,it designs the signatures for 4 widely used protocols.During the study of traffic feature detection technology,the thesis proposes a P2P traffic identification method based on the characteristics of udp session and design the schema of identifying P2P traffic by classifying tcp and upd flow.To evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of the P2P traffic identification model,we design and implement the prototype system.The system is deployed in a small LAN environment to test its performance and effectiveness.The experimental results show that this model can accurately and efficiently identify P2P traffic,which commendably implement the purpose of the P2P traffic identification and control. |
