Design And Implementation Of Vehicle Monitoring Platform Based On Beidou Navigation

How to make the vehicle management more efficient and to reduce the cost of manpower and time has become to be one of the most important work in almost all of the governments and enterprises which have many vehicles to manage.And the vehicle monitoring platform,using information technology,will help to manage the vehicle very efficiently.Most of the navigation and location functions based on BEIDOU technology in the market have a risk of sensitive information disclosure.Aiming at the special needs of the governments and enterprises,in this paper we designed a kind of vehicle management platform based on the Beidou navigation system,through studying the GIS technology and CAN protocol.For This designed platform is based on hierarchical design,consisting of induction layer,transport layer and platform layer,which could provide the functions of vehicle terminal management,command parse,date storage and processing,and user management.The vehicle mounted software is the primary part of the induction layer,providing the functions of vehicle location management,monitoring,terminal equipment management;The monitoring platform software is the primary part of the platform layer,providing the functions of GIS service,date service and basic service.The test result shows that the management platform we designed succeed to provide a full life circle service for the vehicle management,and it could greatly improve the efficiency of the vehicle management for users.And besides the basic management functions of vehicle information,manpower information,daily record information,the navigation and location functions based on management platform are needed which could make the administrator know well of the location.The system has been used and it could also make the vehicle management more standard and save the human,physical,financial resources at the same time.
