In recent years,w:ith development of mobile communication and wireless physiological sensors;wireless body area network,the emerging short-range wireless communication technology has been more and more attention.Because of its high speed and low transmitting power,UWB has become one of the best candidate technologies for wireless body area network,and the design of wearable UWB antenna also be a new challenge to the traditional antenna design theory.With the continuous progress of microelectronics technology,led to the development of miniaturized implantable devices.In order to reduce the size of the implantable device,reduce antenna size and improve the antenna performance has become the problem that researchers must be solved.The main work and achievements of this paper are as follows:(1)Combining with the comfort requirement of wearable antenna,Using electromagnetic simulation software HFSS,based on FPC technology,designed a flexible UWB monopole antenna.Then,studied the performance of the prototype monopole antenna in the WBAN.Use the method of loading a reflector plate to reduce the radiation on the human body.Finally,the designed antenna was processed and tested,the results of simulation and test show that this antenna's backward radiation is small,and it's impedance bandwidth can covers the entire UWB band in both cases of flat placement and bending with the arm.(2)By introducing a new metallic ground structure,an ultra-wideband(UWB)antenna with a brackets-shaped metal structure is designed based on the prototype monopole antenna.The antenna working in high frequency band of UWB(6-10 GHZ),by introducing of structure shape metal brackets,the radiation pattern of antenna at high frequency band of UWB has been improved.(3)Designed two ultra-wideband notch antenna,by loading half-wavelength open-circuit resonator or quarter-wavelength short-circuit resonator on prototype monopole antenna to achieve a notch features,and applies it to the body area network,The simulation and test results show that the two ultra-wideband notch antennas designed in this paper can suppress the electromagnetic radiation of 5.8GHz band and their impedance bandwidth can cover the entire UWB band in both cases of flat placement and bending with the arm.(4)Combined with the miniaturization needs of implantable antenna.By meandering,stacking,slotting,etc.,designed a single-frequency implantable antenna at the MICS band and a dual-frequency implantable antenna at the MICS and ISM 2.4 GHz band.Compared with the existing similar research,the implantable antenna designed in this paper are effectively reduced the antenna volume while keeping the far field gain.
