| The rapid development of codec technique and network technology promotes the change of high-definition video monitoring technology.Software-based video monitoring systems have advantages in price and flexibility.But because of the limited processing capacity of CPU,this kind of system lacks the ability to process large amounts of video data concurrently.Therefore,H.264 hardware-accelerated codec on Quick Sync Video technology is designed and applied to the high-definition video monitoring system.The main work of this dissertation is as follows:Aiming at the existing problems during the development of video monitoring technology,the design scheme of hardware-accelerated codec is presented.This dissertation analyses the technologies about video codec,including video codec module,H.264 codec universal design as well as the main video hardware-accelerated codec technology.The software architecture based on Intel Media SDK and the common functionality class are introduced in this thesis.The data structure and hierarchical design for hardware-accelerated codec is also introduced,then this dissertation realizes hardware-accelerated codec based on the Intel platform.In addition,this dissertation completes the architecture and software model design of the Square Box monitoring system with DirectShow technology,builds the filter graph and realizes the application of hardware-accelerated for the monitoring system.Experimental results show that the Square Box high-definition video monitoring system with the hardware-accelerated codec causes the significant reduction in CPU utilization and significant enhance in speed of decoding and encoding compared with the traditional software codec.It shows good regularity and has the good engineering practice significance. |
