Abstract/Summary:
The research of signal-oriented automatic test system(ATS)solves the problem that the test program can be transplanted and the instrument is interchangeable.The signal-oriented test resource description provides the necessary information to automatically test the system’s operation.The IEEE Standards Coordinating Committee has developed the Automated Test Markup Language(ATML)standard for normalizing the test resources description.As one of the important sub-criteria of the ATML standard family,the IEEE1671.2 interactive instrument description standard specifies the descriptive method of the physical properties,the operating specifications,the signal capability,the driver and the instruments’ s other information.The instrument description document based on the IEEE1671.2 instrument description standard provides the upper layer information for the operation of the test system.The IVI-Signal driver of the instrument control layer transforms the instrument description information into programmable instrument capabilities for the test system,providing support for instrument interchangeability,versatility,and test program portability for the test system at the top and bottom.Based on the analysis of the framework of Automatic Test System,this thesis deeply studies the IEEE1671.2 instrument description standard,In combination with the project,it is necessary to realize the instrument description tool which can meet the specification,and then study and design the IVI-Signal driver which can convert the description information into the system programmable instrument,so as to support the software platform in the upper and lower layers of the system.The main contents of the thesis are as follows:1)In combination with the test platform frame structure and ATML standard,the author deeply researched the IEEE1671.2 instrument description standard,and analyzed the structure definition of the instrument.According to the project requirements,then introduced the elements of instrument description one by one,and researched the methods of describing the instrument channel resource.2)According to IEEE1617.2 instrument description standard,combined with project requirements and STD signal components,the author researched the design and implementation of the instrument description tool.According to whether the instrument has the signal capability,the tool was designed the instrument description tool to general instrument description tool and switch instrument description tool,implemented the user can directly enter the instrument information to generate the instrument description document that comforms to the specification.3)The author researched the instrument control technology,and designed IVI-Signal driver program to control the instrument.The instrument description information was turned into the system runtime’s instrument capability that can be progromed,supported for test platform’s the instrument interchangeability and test program portability.
