PROFIBUS is geared to the needs of factory automation,process automation,a kind of international fieldbus standards.The mature technology,wide application,won wide support global industrial automation,and PROFIBUS-DP is an important branch,its market share to 80%,and domestic special chip of PROFIBUS-DP is essentially provided by foreign manufacturers,the automation industry in China is difficult to grasp the core technology of science and technology,to some extent,limits the development of industrial technology in China in the field,so the research of this technology has great significance and broad prospects.At the same time,the rapid development of electronic industry,all kinds of the widespread use of the microprocessor,the Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA)gets vigorous development,its design concept,TOP_DOWN will split system function step by step,through the realization of the various modules design thought,finally combined into a complete system,successfully avoiding consideration to the specific device structure.Carefully analyzing PROFIBUS-DP slave station,developed from the overall design structure.Using the FPGA chip of Altera company’s Cyclone IV series,application of the language structure looser Verilog HDL(Hardware Description Language)to realize the software part of PROFIBUS-DP slave station agreement,and the Physical Layer,Data Link Layer and User Layer is given of the design process in detail.At the same time,by simulation,getting the result of the various modules,and proving the correctness of the various modules.In this paper,using PC to be the master station send data,using serial debugging assistant to consistency validation test platform,overall design meets the requirements of the experimental data,the rationality and feasibility of this design scheme is verified.
