| Recent years witness China’s rapid and sustained social and economic growth.Hence gas station was becomed increasingly important in our daily life.Oil giants worldwide were used information technology in the refined oil market,integrated gas station businesses,and developed corresponding retail management system to operate their stations.For gas stations,the application of information system brought timeliness supervision,improved the gas station operation system,enhanced the performance of the group,and,in the management front,provided some data and decision-making supports.In this paper,C/S architecture was taken as the development model,and C#language was used for programming to achieve the relevant interface and functional design.The Visual Studio 2008 was applied as the development platform,the SQL Server 2005 management software was used for database,and ultimately,the gas station retail system was realized.The system includes a foreground system and a backstage system.The foreground system comprises a shifting module,an oil sales module and a non-oil sales module.Gas station operators can check the real-time oil sales situation,timely detect overtime transactions and reduce skippers.The system also indicates the volume of oil and non-oil sales and inventory,by which the loss on sale caused by manual inventory check,oil volume measurement,and invoice count can be decreased.The background system includes: convenience store module,oil module,and management module.The backstage system integrates data of the in-station oil,non-oil goods,employee management,customer management,competitor management and customer questionnaire survey,so that managers can keep abreast of inventory and sales summary of oil and convenience store,replenish timely,and more importantly,when making inventory in the end of every month,they can have a quick understanding of the data,thus enhancing the sensitivity on oil,commodity inventory and customer experience.Two unique features were added in the management module of background system: competitor management and customer satisfaction survey.Competitor management module gived details of other gas stations around,helps know about the opponent promotional methods,sum up the opponent’s marketing habits and at the same time update own promotions to enhance the customer adhesiveness,and it can intensify the customer loyalty to the brand.Customer satisfaction survey module was another aspect of a gas station to enhance competitiveness: it allows managers to see the weak parts of a gas station more intuitively,to locate the aspects that have to be strengthened,thus enhancing customer experience from the side. |
