As a new technology of industrial communication network,industrial Ethernet is applied more and more widely in the field of industrial automation.After analysing the communication status of industrial real-time Ethernet,this paper chooses the Sercos III which occupies the important position in high-speed motion control field as the research object.Firstly,communication principle of Sercos Protocol III is studied,and on the basis of it,we design the Sercos III network simulation system,realizing the network configuration,service channel,real-time data transmission,communication initialization,error handling,communication parameters processing and communication timing functions and so on,which can simulate the Sercos III network system in different network load conditions,and output the important performance parameters.Secondly,the paper describes the real-time Ethernet performance index definited in the IEC61784-2,and analyzes the minimum cycle time,Throughput RTE and non real-time transmission network bandwidth of three performance indicators in different network load and topology using simulation software.Finally,the packet capture and analysis software is designed and developed for the Sercos III especially based on the simulation software.We use SharpPcap development framework of.Net platform based completing the packet capture,write the packet data analysis processing algorithm,analyze the captured data,and accomplish monitoring,fault diagnosis,performance statistical analysis and application layer data analysis to the Sercos III network system.And a Sercos communication network system is set up to verify the function of the capture and analysis software.The results show that the packet capture and analysis software designed in this paper can capture the Sercos III message completely,and carry out the analysis and analysis rightly.
