Because of its high speed,reliability and convenient connection,CAN bus has been widely used,including automotive industry,medical equipment and industrial automation.Since the CAN control ler only provides two layers of open system interconnection reference model:physical layer and data link layer.In the industrial control network configuration and connection etc.,because the CAN does not define the standard definition of application layer in the beginning,leading to various manufacturers in the actual application of the application layer definitions vary,resulting in the same CAN message for the application layer to explain its varied function with the meaning of.These devices are not in direct communication.In order to solve the compatibility problem of each node in the system,a unified application layer protocol should be developed.Automated CAN users and CAN CAN(CiA in Automation),the formulation of the CANopen protocol is an open application layer protocol for the fieldbus.In order to realize rapid networking and on-line debugging,the corresponding CANopen network configuration and debugging software are needed.However,CANopen network configuration and debugging software has many disadvantages,such as single function,complex operation and inflexible data display.In this paper,an integrated CANopen configuration software is designed to solve the above problems.This paper first introduces the application background and current situation of CAN bus and CANopen protocol,and then analyzes and designs the specific functions of the system in accordance with the functional requirements of the CANopen network configuration and debugging process.The software design uses the modular design concept,system configuration module,network management module,real-time display and processing processes of the three function modules were designed in detail and sent through the NMT and SDO objects to network nodes corresponding configuration and management using computer,enhances the network configuration and debugging process work efficiency.Finally,the function of the software is tested,and the experimental results show that the implemented software implements all the design functions.
