| The university-industry cooperation is a socio-economic activity that requires enterprises,universities together with scientific research institutions to promote industry innovation, enhance the innovation efficiency and foster the scientific and technological innovation talents. The cooperation plays an important role in the collaborative development the knowledge innovation and science innovation. It not only can improve the resource complementarity, but also can boost the ability of national competition. The study of university-industry cooperation serves as a major topic since it has been brought up. Scholars concentrate on many different views to make a deeper understanding and study of this topic. Most likely, they focus on cooperation models and performance.Nowadays, researchers of this field change their concentration into innovative networks due to their similarities in many ways on national innovation. The exchange of information and knowledge throughout the cooperation is bound to give birth to a kind of relation set-the network. Researches can reveal the issues of the innovation networks via the analysis and description of network structures and its evolution. In this way, we can increase the innovation ability and provide related administrative departments with some aiding advices.On the basis of reading and summarizing a large amount of correlation theory and previous researches, this paper first draw an overall view by using the patents of Hubei Province university-industry cooperation. Secondly, the paper built a university-industry cooperation innovative network base of these patents. And then some of the indexes have used to analyze and depict the network, such as network density, network betweenness centralization and so on. Finally, some suggestions have been brought up to enhance the efficiency of the network and how to boost the cooperation of the university-industry cooperation in Hubei province according to problems appearing in the network.Through the research, we found out that: the overall patent application appears a rising trend. Especially, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan Narui of State Grid Corporation of China, Wuhan University of Technology and some other 17 companies, universities and institutions appear a very well performance. However, the cooperation frequency is a little bit low,as we can see the figure of frequency. Besides,most cooperation happened inside the province, mainly, in Wuhan city. About the application areas, Hubei province cooperation display a fine outcome on physics, power,chemistry and metallurgy, esp. in physics field. About the innovation network, it appears a little low in its density. And the companies exhibit a lower share comparing to universities and institutions in the network. Moreover, the evolution of the network shows a clear stage feature. And the major actors in the network has changed a lot, such as a number of large privately-owned companies and some non-985 or -211 universities have joint the network and gain much more resource, which gives a pretty good performance.These results make us draw a conclusion that the university-industry cooperation of Hubei Province has accomplished a certain achievements. However, it still need to deepen the cooperation and improve transfer efficiency. In order to conquer the problems appears in the network and increase the ability on innovation, giving more opportunities to the enterprises to up its share in the network will be given priority, and we need to launch more diversified cooperation. Last but not least, the government and relating facilitating agencies shall give full play to its function and source ability to create a much finer environment to aid and further the cooperation. |
