The dynamic infrared scene simulation technology can test and evaluate the performance of infrared image system by simulating the infrared radiation of the real object and environment in the indoor environment.A set of multi-field Infrared scene simulator optical system based on DMD is designed by ZEMAX optical software. The system not only can simulate a variety of scenarios for the same system under test, but also match the different viewing angle of the system.According to the working principle of the infrared scene simulator based on DMD,the solution is determined that multi-field Infrared scene simulator optical system consists of illuminating system, splitting structure and zoom projection system. The light beam which the blackbody radiates is uniformly irradiated on the surface of the DMD through the telecentric illuminating system. The splitting structure which is made of ZnS successfully resolves the problem that the projection system overlaps with the illuminating system. An optical compensation zoom system can realize the focal lengths of 50 mm / 100 mm / 150 mm / 200 mm through four zoom blocks. The design results show that the image position is stable and the modulation transfer function(MTF)curve at 20 lp/mm of each focal length is closed to the diffraction limit during zoom process, which could conform to the requirements.
