With the rapid development of computer technology and network technology,information security is becoming more and more important in people’s daily life.It’s need accurate authentication to guarantee the information security in the filed of national security-justice,e-commerce,finance and so on.Biometric-based identification technology is an essential prerequisite for information security.Because it has the advantages of relatively mature technology,easy to use,contact friendly and low price,the fingerprint recognition technology is getting more and more attention in biotechnology.Attendance management is used to examine the attendance of staff in the enterprises and institutions,which is plays an important role in enterprises management.A perfect attendance system,which can standard the behavior of employees and improve the awareness of the staff service,can improve the economic benefits of enterprise.There exists many drawbacks in most of the traditional attendance system,such as instead of punching,waste of human resources,the low of recognition accuracy and lack of system expandability.On the basis of analyzing and summarizing the fingerprint identification related algorithms,this paper designs a fingerprint attendance system based on the fingerprint identification system,which is based on the requirement of attendance demand of the Technology Innovation Center of Internet of Things in Jiangsu Province.Firstly,this paper analyzes the related algorithms in the process of fingerprint recognition,and introduces the algorithms of fingerprint identification in recent years,and then summarizes these algorithms.Secondly,considering the traditional fingerprint thinning algorithm which is not complete the phenomenon of refinement and the feature of low speed,this paper presents a hybrid fingerprint thinning algorithm.This algorithm combine OPTA template refinement on the basis of rapid refinement algorithm,which adds two groups of refinement templates and performs secondary refinement on the fingerprint image.The experimental results show that the algorithm can solve the problem of incomplete thinning at the oblique line and the bifurcation point of the fingerprint,which is helpful to improve the accuracy of subsequent fingerprint matching.Finally,according to the requirement of attendance demand of the technology innovation and application center in Jiangsu province,this paper designs a fingerprint attendance system based on fingerprint identification.The system supports fingerprint attendance,user management,check the attendance statistics at the end of mouth and other functions.The test results show that the system can meet the attendance requirement of the center in terms of functionality and expansibility,and it is convenient for the following secondary expansion development.
