At the present time,in contrast to previous decades, the important role of radio range decameter waves(HF)is generally recognized and not questioned.A special place in the system and HF radio networks take protected objects(radio stations, radio centers)to ensure operation in conditions of extreme natural,man-made or combat actions in which other kinds and means of communication will be disabled. As part of such facilities, are typically used underground antennas, which, like the objects as a whole, are requirements to the parameters of the destination, stamina and vitality. If 20-25 years ago,the main purpose of such objects is only associated with global(including nuclear)armed conflicts in recent years as the most real threats infrastructure is increasingly necessary to consider the threat of large-scale terrorist attacks. The continuing, and in some cases increasing threat of natural and man-made disasters, terrorist acts and military conflicts, necessitates the constant readiness of existing protected objects and underground antennas in their composition,as well as the creation of new similar facilities, with the design and placement of underground antennas leading to That their service life is relatively low,and the possibilities of repair and maintenance are extremely limited. Thus, there is currently an actual scientific problem-the development of technical solutions and design techniques to create ground antennas of high efficiency, durability and survivability. In turn, the creation of new protected facilities and the modernization of existing ones requires the periodic design and construction of new underground antennas, and in the face of ever-increasing demands on the parameters of destination, durability and survivability. The purpose of work is development of scientific theoretical positions and technical solutions for the construction of underground antenna for HF radio systems.Research object-underground HF range antenna systems.Research subject-methods of design and technical solutions for the construction of underground antenna for HF radio systems. The scientific novelty of the work is as follows:1.Based on the known method of moments,a mathematical model and a technique for electrodynamic analysis of antennas located in a dissipative medium have been developed.2.New theoretical results are obtained for investigating the possibilities of controlling macroscopic parameters of the local volume of a dissipative medium by imposing a constant electric displacement field.3.A technique for designing basic radiators for underground antenna systems has been developed, including analysis of tactical and technical requirements, selection of the type of radiator from the existing nomenclature, specification of requirements for the medium of accommodation, calculation of the electrical parameters of the radiator based on the developed electrodynamic analysis, refinement of the geometric parameters of the radiator based on the calculation results and justification of the application(if necessary)of the means for controlling the macroscopic parameters of the local volume of the dissipative medium at the location of the radiator by imposing a constant electric displacement field.4.A methodology for designing underground antenna systems was developed, including analysis of tactical and technical requirements, selection of types of base radiators, calculation of electrical parameters of the antenna system based on the developed method of electrodynamic analysis of antennas and refinement of geometric parameters of the projected antenna system based on the results of calculations.Theoretical and practical significance of the work is as follows:The mathematical model and the technique of electrodynamic analysis of antennas placed in a dissipative medium, developed by the author, expands the class of problems solved on the basis of the method of moments. At the disposal of the developers of antenna technology is an accessible and sufficiently accurate calculation tool that,in relation to the specific class of tasks mentioned,is quite competitive with respect to expensive universal and specialized software packages. The new theoretical results obtained by the author of the study of the possibilities of controlling the macroscopic parameters of the local volume of a dissipative medium by imposing a constant electric displacement field expand knowledge of physical laws in the part of controlling the electrophysical characteristics of media and open the possibility of creating underground antennas with significantly improved parameters. The thesis consists of an abstract,an introduction, four sections,a conclusion,a list of literature and appendix.
