| At the present time,the mass media exerts a subtle influence on the ideas and behaviors of children through the fruitful medium content.The media,as well as the society,the school and the family,has become an important factor affecting the socialization of children.As a special group of children,the children-in-orphanage are also deeply influenced by the media.Among these factors that influence the socialization of children-in-orphanage,the media,as a carrier of communication culture and social norms,also has a "soft" influence on the socialization of the children-in-orphanage.Rather than the "hard" impact of government,welfare agencies and social groups.Therefore,it is necessary to study the children-in-orphanage how to use the media,to explore their interaction with the medium.To find the role of the medium in the socialization of the children-in-orphanage.And then,we can use the media help the children-in-orphanage to do better in the socialization process.In this study,first of all,6 welfare institutions in Guizhou province were selected as the research sites,and nearly 200 children-in-orphanage who lived in these institutions were investigated.Secondly,to have a scientific answer which the children-in-orphanage how to use the media,this paper has used questionnaire survey,case interview,objective observation and other research methods to study the daily use of the media in the orphanage.Then,this paper summarized the difficulties that the children-in-orphanage have in socialization.In addition to that,this paper also summed up the media usage situation of the children-in-orphanage,analyzed the problem of media control in the process of interaction between children and media,and thought about the influence of media on the socialization of children-in-orphanage from blind imitation,media dependence,attitude towards violence and affection.Finally,this paper gave its own advice and countermeasures from the welfare agencies,schools and social aspects for the above issues. |
