The simulation of the underwater acoustic array signal is designed to provide the real-time and realistic experimental data for sonar array signal processing.The relatively realistic array simulation signals are provided by the existing simulation methods,which ignores the time factor.The calculation of the sound propagation in the array signal simulation is very large due to the complexity and variability of the ocean channels.How to obtain the high real-time simulation signals for the array signal processing has become a difficult problem in underwater acoustic array signal simulation.Four fast computing methods for the sound propagation simulation are proposed based on the widely used KRAKEN normal model and BELLHOP ray model.The main work is as follows:1.A sound propagation calculation procedure is designed,by analyzing the differences of the real-time requirements of the different parameters in the sound propagation calculation,which is based on the real-time requirement.The calculations which have no real-time requirement are brought into the preprocessing stage of the simulation system,so that the calculation of the real time simulation stage is reduced,which improves the real-time performance of the simulation system.2.A calculation method is proposed,which is based on the frequency interpolation for KRAKEN model in wide-band signal simulation.The accuracy of the interpolation results is analyzed,and the computation speed has been improved.3.A simulation method for wide-band signals is proposed,which is generated by the Fourier transform and based on the phase compensation.The problem of the long signal synchronized by Fourier transform due to the existence of the signal group delay is solved,and the real-time performance of the system has been improved.4.A method of the acoustic ray screening based on the delay sorting is studied under the constraint of filter order,for the problem of the channel filter with limited order in the real-time underwater acoustic array signal simulation.The feasibility of the method is investigated also.5.The applicability of the acoustic field model in real-time signal simulation is studied,which provides a reference for the selection of channel model in underwater acoustic array signal simulation.6.The overall framework of the real time underwater acoustic array signal simulation system is introduced,the basic functions of each simulation unit are expounded,and the realization process of the fast calculation of sound propagation is described in the simulation.
