Design And Implementation Of A MVC-based ICU Charting System

With the development of Medical Technology,the intensive care unit(ICU)came into being,it focused on the relevant expertise and technology,as well as the most advanced medical treatment and monitoring equipment,such as ECG monitors,blood pressure gauges and other measuring equipment.Medical staff according detected data to treat and nurse patients.As technology is progress,most of new monitoring equipment appeared.Medical staff would check the equipment data and record when they medical,it would seriously reduce medical personnel efficiency.In order to improve the efficiency of health care,The system will display each monitor data on the system of the client interface,so medical patient only to view the data in the client interface system;and the system will save monitoring data within a certain time,medical patient monitoring data without further notes,which greatly improves the efficiency and accuracy of the medical staff.This article put forward a kind of three layer architecture based on MVC,through the architecture realize the C/S system.The view layer of three layer architecture using inheritance java.swing.LookAndFeel realize the part controls to write UI interface.In the business logic processing work to realize the system function of the system business logic layer,and realizes the interactive database.The system uses MySQL database to storage data.Using Hibernate technology to realize the database interaction.Reduce the stability of interaction with the database development work and enhance the interaction with a database,using Hibernate technology to encapsulate the mapping database,simply fill out of information and the entity and object in the Hibernate configuration file.As the system interacts with the database frequently,in the realization of interactive database used in the process of database connection pool,database connection less response time and improve the performance of the system.This system uses FOP technology to realize single customized development of nursing,develop a gadget with the technology of Qt,the gadget create XSL style files accord to configuration,read the data from database,use the XML DOM analytical technology to generate XML data file,FOP can be a XSL style file and XML data files into PDF files or other text file,custom work.Through the needs analysis,outline design,detailed design and test,this System has been developed,and it content the requirement of function and performance of user.ICU Charting has been used in No.1 Affiliated Hospital of Zhongshan University and Zhengzhou hospital,and can achieve the desired effect,it reduce nurse work and convenient for doctors to view patient.The mobile client of system is currently developing system,the client will be used in the Android smart phone,it will be more convenient for user.
