Brushless DC motors are widely used in various fields because of their simple structure,high operation efficiency,small motor size,wide speed range and easy maintenance.The brushless dc motor without position sensor,due to its smaller size,stronger anti-interference ability compared with BLDC with position sensor,often are used in UAVs,intelligent robot and so on miniaturization industry.Therefore,this paper has developed a brushless DC motor control system with high speed and high fault tolerance based on STM8 microprocessor for non-position sensor brushless DC motor.Firstly,the background significance of this topic is introduced,and the current popular technology of brushless DC motor is studied and analyzed in this paper.Then,the structure of the brushless DC motor body is introduced.The working principle of brushless DC motor brushless DC motor is described,and the mathematical model is established.The six-pulse rotor positioning technology,the fast start-up technology of high-frequency pulse injection,the smooth switching and the key technologies of high-speed operation are studied,and the corresponding fault-tolerant strategies are analyzed for the possible faults in these stages.A self-test algorithm is designed to detect whether the inverter has a short circuit or an open circuit,and the corresponding fault-tolerant processing.Aiming at the errors caused by the external interference on the positioning,starting and high speed operation,the corresponding fault-tolerant algorithm is designed and the IIR electronic filter is added.Hardware designs contain the power circuit,control circuit,power drive circuit,zero crossing comparison circuit,fault-tolerant circuit.Based on STM8 designed the corresponding software program.The experimental platform is designed and tested for the prototype,which proves the rotor positioning,fast start method,smooth switching method,high speed running technology and the fault tolerance strategy involved in each stage.
