| Since the 1990 s,with the development of information technology and the popularization of Internet,video on demand(VOD)technology has been developed rapidly.Now VOD technology is used not only for entertainment but also for television,which enables users to obtain rich video on demand services via computers,mobile phones and other terminals.At the same time,for video surveillance,attendance and other industry requirements,VOD technology has rapidly extended to industry applications.VOD remote security,telemedicine and distance education also rapidly spring up.This paper concentrates on the video attendance system for education and the actual needs of the realization of open classroom through video technology,using HTTP protocol HLS streaming media technology to design and develop network VOD system based on the actual needs,aiming to provide a reliable,stable,safe and practical application of video service.This paper focuses on the research and analysis of streaming media technology and distributed storage technology,and applies these technologies to the design and development of VOD system.Taking the actual video file storage requirements into account,the system adopts the hadoop distributed file system popular distributed storage technology in Hadoop architecture,by using HLS streaming media technology and distributed storage technology in this project,successfully meeting the storage needs of fast read video playback of high-definition,cross platform,demand and fluency of video files.At the same time,it realizes the smooth and flexible expansion of video storage system.Through the research of video on demand technology,the VOD system for educational industry is implemented.This system can be used in video attendance,open classroom and other fields of education,and has a wide range of practical value. |
