Design And Development Of Polarization Sensitive Array Antenna

Polarization of the antenna is very important wireless resource,by making full use of electromagnetic wave spatial dimension,multi-polarization antenna can achieve more freedom degree which is also the characteristic channel of space,resulting in great improvement of the system performance.Along with the development of the antenna array and the multi-polarization antenna,people gradually put forward the concept of polarization sensitive array antenna,polarization sensitive array antenna can sufficiently obtain the information of polarization and spatial of electromagnetic signal,it has very high priority in signal detection capability,anti-interference ability and resolution ability.Under the above background,in this paper we design a new type of polarization sensitive array antenna,and make the preparation and testing.Main content includes:1)We analyze the basic principle and characteristics of polarization sensitive antenna deeply,and we put forward and demonstrate our own ideas.2)On the basis of the theory,we design two kinds of polarization sensitive array dual-polarization antenna unit,and on the basis of dual-polarization antenna unit we design a new type of the tri-polarization antenna unit of polarization sensitive array.The unit has good characteristic of VSWR,wide bandwidth,low level of cross polarization.3)According to the design of the antenna unit we complete the structure design of antenna array,and we analyze the mutual coupling of array unit deeply,give the relationship of unit spacing and the mutual coupling of units,based on this we proposed an effective method to suppress the mutual coupling of the polarization sensitive array antenna units.We complete the simulation of polarization sensitive array antenna,and make the preparation and testing,the test results and simulation results match well,which verify the feasibility of the experiment scheme and the simulation design.
