The Research On The Improvement Of Internal Control On Sales And Accounts Receivable On Tianqiao Crane Company

In order to grow constantly, Enterprise will always guard against operational risks and financial risk, legal risk, and follow the law and rule to run the enterprise. As a result, leading by the Bureau of Finance, the five ministries released the basic norms for internal control in enterprises. Therefore, the government emphasized the important role of internal control in enterprise management from the height of the policy. As one of the core parts of internal control, the internal control of the sales and account receivable helps the enterprise to create profits, to keep movement of the money chain and to develop the market share of the enterprise. Therefore, the establishment and improvement of a strong internal control on sales and account receivable for each enterprise is of great significance.The research object is Tianqiao Crane Company and it is one of the largest mechanical manufacturers in southern China area with a prosperous future. However, there are some imperfections on internal control of sales and account receivable. Based on the internal control theory, system theory, control theory and information theory as a foundation, this paper summarizes the Tianqiao Crane Company in the status quo of sales and payment process, credit management, contract management, delivery management, service management and accounts receivable management. Then the paper analyses the problems in sales information system, customer credit management, service management, accounts receivable management. At last, this paper put forward a series of suggestions, including the establishment of a fine internal control environment; the improvement of credit management and after-sales service management; the perfection of accounts receivable management. This article provides some suggestions on sales and accounts receivable internal control for Tianqiao Crane Company, besides it also provides some reference for other enterprises in the industry.
