Although the world economy is continuing to moderate recovery, but the recovery progress of the economy is clearly differentiated, the economic body of international trade demand continued to fluctuate; resulting in the third party testing business needs to change.Facing the complex and volatile international economic environment and the fierce competition in the domestic market,the third party testing organizations need to realize the transition from the traditional mode to lean mode, andto improve the core competitiveness and reduce the final cost by continuous improvement. So how to achieve the continuous improvement of lean thinking has become an important issue for the rapid development and continuous operation of the third party testing organizations.Based on QDT the third party testing Laboratory of S company which is a global third party testing organization(QDT is the name code of Laboratory in S company, hereinafter referred to as "QDT") as the research object, this research, dependence on related theories including Lean management thinking and Lean management tools, first introducedthe general situation ofS company'sQDT Laboratory, including the general situation of S company, the QDT Laboratory's development, general situation, organization and Team situation,the current situations of all laboratories and current existing problems of DQT Laboratory; then it analyzed VSMs of QDT Laboratory, including the whole work process of QDT Laboratory, the work process of Wet Laboratory, the work process of Chemical Laboratory and Physical Laboratory, and then list the causesof currentexisting problems; depending on the analyzed causes of the problems, to solve these problems at the same time,this research provided improved targets and solutions, includingoptimizing work process, implementing lean equalization, accomplishing JIT, optimizing 5S management and improve communication; and thenput forward the safeguard measures of leanImplementation.Through the application research of S Company's QDT lab lean thinking, we can guide the similar type of laboratory lean thinking continuous improvement work in S company; also can provide reference for the same industry and other third party inspection agency to solve similar problems.
