Sichuan province boasts of pig rasing, of which le shan city is the major production base for quality pork across the province.This paper adopts literature review,site survey and analysis demonstration methods to provide a scientific basis for the stable development of pig industry in Leshan City. It has made a detailed survey of pig breeding status,advantages, characteristics, and the existing problems in Jiajiang county and Qianwei County of Leshan city to point out the favorable conditions and advantages of the development of the pig industry in Leshan city. and put forward the current problems and restrictions factors of the pig industry developmet. The paper also propose some corresponding measures and suggestions.combined with the actual situation of the of pig industry development.First, adhere to the road of scale farming and promote the standardization of the scale farming.?Stick to moderate scale farming. We should vigorously support scale farming, futher adjust the traditional modes of widespread household and small scale farming, encourage and promote farmers to expand its existing scale and construct standardized scale farms.?Insist on scientific healthy farming. To establish a group of healthy farm bases majored by scale farms and farming districts. We must also strengthen the rationality of the farms layout, environment and infrastructure upgrade,and carry out management institutions as production recording,products test and input use to increase farmers technological level and regulate pig breeding behaviors.?Treat well with the waste to solve the environmental pollution effectively. Carry out biogas production and comprehensive utilization in large farms, organic fertilizer production and utilization in large and medium farm (district), agro-ecological recycling in medium farms, biogas production and utilization in small farms and biological fermentation bed cultivation.
