With the upgrade of technology and aggravation of competition, communication equipment manufacturers must win the advantage in cost, quality and development of new product. Structural components are the key and bottleneck materials for new product, so it is necessary to build a strategic partnership in supply chain, to make sure that suppliers could cooperate and guarantee in technic innovation, design, high quality, quick response, services, etc. And the core of supplier management is how to evaluate and select partners and maintain a healthy business operation.This paper studies H Company's management mechanism on how to test, select and evaluate the suppliers of custom-made structural components, which include:Firstly, according to requests of custom-made structural component, use a linear weight evaluating model to select a pool of qualified supplier resources. This model contains sectors such as key manufacture equipment and productivity, key testing equipment, product technology and its management system, quality and its management system, eco-friendly and social responsibility, operation situation, etc. Secondly, determine different bidding methods in various project. Select the appropriate partner from the qualified supplier pool by using standards such as BOM addition. Finally, use performance management system to evaluate suppliers, and propose a combined management concept to guide suppliers to benign development and lead to strategic cooperation.This paper has a very practical and quotable meaning on how to select and evaluate the suppliers of structural components for consumer electronics. |
