The Research Of Land-Reform And The Consolidation Of The Chinese Communist In Qinyuan County Of Tai-Yue Area (1946-1949)

To cope with KMT's preparations for launching the civil war after the Japanese invasion war,the Communist Party of China(CPC)appropriately adjusted its land policy by promulgating the Instructions on May Fourth,thus opening the large/scale agrarian reform in the rural areas.Thanks to the agrarian reform,peasants' economic status,ideological awareness and the class consciousness has been improved greatly.However,there came many problems during the reform such as deviations from CPC's policies,the abuse of power and corruptions of some leaders at the grass/roots level.These bad behaviors seriously separated them from the masses and further blocked the reform.Realizing these errors and serious results,senior leaders of CPC,after a comprehensive understanding of the situation,launched a party rectification.The National Conference of Agrarian Reform from July to September in 1947 marked the rectification,which meant that openness of the CPC rectification.The rectification aimed to solve the problems like components of the party and work style at grassroots party organizations to purify leaders' thoughts and then ensure the implementation of the agrarian reform and other work.It focused on the grassroots rural party organizations.Qinyuan county,the center of Taiyue District in Shanxi province,committed itself to implementing the CPC guidelines thorough.But,problems like bad work styles also existed.To remove these unhealthy phenomena,from November 1948 to May 1949,the CPC Committees of Qinyuan county undertook a timely manner of democratic party rectification movement which went in three phrasesand covered 199 villages by deploying working groups to the villages in/depth.This movement successfully cleared the impure elements mixed in the Party,recruited a large number of new members.All the Party members received a profound Marxist ideological education,winning themselves great improvement and progress.The rectification movement for agrarian reform party also helped the CPC deeply occupy a large number of rural areas in China,thus laying down a solid foundation for the construction of new China.
