A Study On S Hotel's Purchasing Management Improvement

Based on the purchasing management process as the main line, this paper tries to summarize the characteristics and contents of high star hotel purchasing management at present stage in our country for the purpose of improvement. First of all, it analyzes the characteristics of hotel industry procurement and control points. Secondly, it puts forward some solutions and methods of its control points through the illustration and data. Then, according to the hotel's loopholes and problems in purchasing management, some effective improvement methods and perfecting measures are put forward.In combing the internal control system, organizational redesign, process reengineering and purchasing management and other basic theory, combining with service characteristics of purchase industry in modern hotel management, the paper ties to analyze and explore the advantages and disadvantages from five aspects, including the purchasing management of the S hotel, central organization structure, purchasing management process, supplier management, procurement cost control. And then it also puts forward some schemes and adjusts the system regulations for S hotel's procurement management. Through these five aspects of improvement, a series of measures to implement purchasing management effectively have been put forward, from strengthening the construction of internal control culture, using scientific and reasonable system of control, improving the information construction, supervision and disciplinary system construction to the implementation of safeguard measures and the improvement in human resources to form a three-dimensional management space for S hotel procurement management. The goal of reducing procurement costs and enhancing the comprehensive competitiveness of the hotel will be reached, thus greatly improving the S hotel procurement efficiency and enterprise's core competitiveness.Through case analysis in the process of purchasing management improvement during S hotel's transformation stage and combining previous research, this paper focuses on analyzing the problems in purchasing management. It is concluded that the new method of procurement management has great application value for their reform for the medium and high-end government affairs reception class hotels. And it is of universal significance for high star hotels in the country with the references provided for their purchasing management and competitive ability.
