Henan province is the main grain-producing areas,which occupies 1/6 of cultivated land and provides 1/10 grain output of the whole nation,is able to support 1/13 of the Chinese population and guarantees the national food security with more than 40 billion jins of commodity grain a year.Wheat and corn are two major food crops in Henan province,either planting area or yield is up-and-coming,in 2013,the area was sown to grain crops in Henan province reached 10.2098 million hectares,including 5.3933 million hectares of wheat in Henan province of the country's 19.5%,the total output of 32.352 million tons,accounting for 24.5% of the country.After wheat,corn is the second largest planting crops in Henan province.Relevant data shows that since 2000,corn-planting area of Henan province keeps more than 2.667 million hectares over the years,especially,achieved 3.203 million hectares in 2013.The output of wheat and corn is promising,however,it still in rising demands.The output of wheat and corn must keep pace with demand in order to guarantee food security.Under the condition of the market economy,wheat and corn farmers expect with the minimum cost to obtain the biggest economic benefits,it is necessary to analyze the cost-benefit situation of farmers,then provide theoretical guidance to them about optimizing the use of the resource.The author roughly introduced the agricultural production in Henan province,and through analyzing the on cost data from 2004 to 2013,and selecting the key factors such as cost per unit area and per unit product,screening out to assess the changes in costs,studying of wheat and corn planting relevant expenses,it shows: first,the total cost per unit area,cash cost and unit product cost and other factors are increasing year by year;Second,when the crop farming costs occupy a growing proportion of the total cost,as well as the cost of land.Thirdly,related service cost growth rapidly as well as the cost of peasant labor.Fourthly,the increase in land cost leads to the increase in total cost.Analysis of wheat,maize yield,can conclude that although the production is gradually increased,but the final benefits do not rise: the profit level has reduced and profit is less.Through the analysis of the influence of the economic benefits of wheat and corn,from the input-output relationship of inputs to produce than also appeared to reduce.Factors from the cost profit margins to analyze the influence factors of economic benefit,so as to come to the conclusion and policy recommendations.According to the specific situation of the cost benefit of wheat and maize in Henan province,by using various control inhibit rapid rise in grain planting cost,increasing financial input in grain production technology,improving the contribution rate of science and technology on food production and promoting the grain price support mechanism and compensation mechanism,strengthening the construction of irrigation and water conservancy infrastructure to lower the cost of wheat and corn and raise wheat and corn.
