Evaluation And Comparison Analysis Of Logistics Competitiveness Of City Clusters In Central China

With the continuous development of economy,roles of the modern logistics have become increasingly apparent and logistics has become a new source of profit growth,named the third profit source.In order to develop systems of modern logistics service and accelerate rising of modern logistics,our government enacted Logistics Industry Adjustment and Revitalization Plan in 2009,and then issued the Mid-Term and Long Term Plans of Logistics in 2014.Meanwhile,with the implementation of the strategy of rising of central China,economy in central China cities is going into a group-developing era.On 5th April 2015,our country announced to develop Triangle of central China in the central China,which further pushed the trend to a new level.Therefore,it is crucial to improve logistics competitiveness of clusters in central China.Aiming at the clusters in central China,we analysis of the logistics development present situation,establish an evaluation system of logistics competitiveness,evaluate the development levels of clusters logistics competitiveness from 2007 to 2013 by using factor analysis and cluster analysis and propose relevant suggestions for the healthy logistics development.First of all,by analysis of characteristics of spatial agglomeration of the logistics scale with HHI index,we find that the low logistics volume concentration of clusters in central China exits,and the present logistic growth pole effect is not obvious.by analysis of logistics efficiency of clusters in central China by DEA,we find that overall logistics efficiency is invalid.The above as the basis of analysis of the logistics competitiveness.The second,we construct an evaluation system of logistics competitiveness of clusters in central China and empirically analyze logistics competitiveness by factor analysis.Then,we obtain three factors which are named logistics environment,logistics informatization and logistics talents.The results of empirical analysis show that logistics environment apparently promotes overall competitiveness,unbalanced phenomenon of central-region logisticscompetitiveness are intensifying and clusters in central China lie in the status of relative development of logistics’ hierarchy.The third,According to cluster analysis we divide logistics competitiveness of into three hierarchies: Zhongyuan city group and Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan city group;Cities around Wuhan and Wanjiang city belt;Clusters around Poyang Lake and Cities around Taiyuan.Finally,From three aspects of logistics environment,logistics talents and logistics informatization,we analyze problems of logistics competitiveness of clusters in central China and put forward related suggestions.
