The Analysis On The Listed Logistics Company's Performance Evaluation And Its Influences Factors In China

Logistics industry plays an important role on promoting the healthy development of allsectors of the national economy.It can help to change the traditional management mode of the companies in the market economy and promote the adjustment and optimization of industrial structure in China.Study on Logistics Company's performance and its influence factor can help enterprise managers to make decisions which are good for the development of the enterprise.Moreover,it will also play an important role on the development of logistics industry and affect the development of social economy.This thesis uses sample date collected from 61 listed logistics company to make analysis.The thesis uses several different analytical methods like cluster analysis,correlation analysis,and principal component analysis as well as factor analysis to set up the logistics performance evaluation system and get its score.By analyzing the average value,this thesis makes comparative analysis to listed logistics company's performance based on their industry type and locations.By using multiple linear regression method to build up the model,this thesis defines the linear relation between influencing factor and Logistics Company's performance.Finally,by considering the relational model of each performance evaluation system,this thesis provides the listed logistics companies with suitable ideas and suggestions.Research Innovation:Firstly,use several different analytical methods like cluster analysis,correlation analysis,and principal component analysis as well as factor analysis to screen the evaluation indicator of each listed logistics company.These analytical methods can reduce the interference of subjective factor and makes the result more close to reality.Secondly,make research by dividing these selected listed logistics companies based on their own industry type and locations can make result of this research more persuasive and give more detailed suggestions.Thirdly,make analysis to the factors which influence the performance of these logistics company can not only help these company detect these problems but also help them to solve these problems.Through analysis and research,we can build up the performance evaluation system which cover the area of profitability,corporate debt,operation capability as well as development capability.We can re-build the model for performance evaluation based on the different weight of main factors and get the ranking of performance of these 61 listed logistics companies.Yantiangang is ranked as the No.1 while Zhongchanghaiyun is ranked in the group end.When make comparative analysis to industry performance and regional performance,we find some new industries(e.g.warehousing)and newly developed areas(e.g.west of China)have better performance and get high score on development capability.But these company also facing great pressure from corporate debt.These companies in other industry and areas also have their own strong and weak points,so we can carry out customized policies to these companies by taking their industry and location into consideration.When make analysis to the influencing factor,the shareholding ratio of the largest shareholder has big influence on the result of performance evaluation and is directly related with company's performance result,which means Logistics Company should adopt centralized system rather than decentralization of its ownership.Because the decentralization of its ownership has negative impact on decision making.Moreover,ration of independent director also has big influence on the result of performance evaluation and is directly related with company's performance result,which means the larger of the ration of independent director,the less power the other shareholders have to influence the decision making.
