In the domestic competition the current trend of internationalization, cross-border mergers and acquisitions and cross-border business is becoming an inevitable choice for lots of ambitious company to survive and develop. Cultural conflict and collision for multinationals is an important problem to be solved.Differences in national culture and corporate culture result in cross-border M & A activity, which will encounter cross-cultural conflicts, and intercultural conflict will lead to increased cross-cultural transaction costs. At last, multinational operation and management activities will not ring true. If you ignore the cross-cultural conflict, the development of multinational companies would face serious consequences. Therefore, the form of performance in cross-cultural conflict, reasons of cross-cultural conflicts, the impact on business activity and how to effectively address the issues are what we need to take into account seriously and research.In this paper, the author chooses the case-- Ausnutria (China) Co., Ltd. (shorted for Ausnutria hereinafter) merged Hyprocal to analyze the causes of intercultural conflict analysis,the influences and solutions. The aim is to reduce the multinational cross-cultural transaction costs and have implications for Chinese multinationals.The main researching methods in the thesis include literature research, expert interviews, field research etc. Firstly, the author reviews and even conments on cross-cultural definition of cross-cultural conflict, reasons of cross-cultural conflicts and cross-cultural conflict solutions based on the previous literatures and references.Second, the author describes the concept of cross-cultural and cross-cultural conflict-related content defines transaction costs, and how to measure cross-cultural transaction cost by theoretical analysis.Third, the author expounds the case about Ausnutria facing intercultural conflicts when merged Hyprocal.Fouth, the author explains the cultural differences between China and the Netherlands combined with the second chapter's theory on the impact of cross-cultural conflict on Ausnutria transnational management. Fouth, the author shows the Ausnutria'solution and highlights how to weigh the cross-cultural transaction cost through compared taking solution. Finally, the author hopes Ausnutria's exprience can play a proper settlement of cross-cultural conflict inspiration for Chinese enterprises in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, which is the original intention of writing the article.
