The Research On The Influence Of China's Bank Loan On Industrial Structure

Since 1978, Even though the economy has developed rapidly,it still comes to a bottleneck. At present, in consideration of the comparatively slow development of the three major industries and the unreasonable industrial structure, the transformation and upgrading of industrial structure becomes imperative and that relays on the reform of our country's financial system. Bank is the crucial part of the financial system in China, and the transformation and upgrading of industrial structure is dependent on the support of bank loan. Research on the relationship of the bank loan and the industrial structure can not only help deepen the reform of the financial system but also provide a theoretical basis to the policy formulation about transformation and upgrading of industrial structure.Based on the theory of industrial structure and other relevant theories, we put forward research hypothesis of the impact of the bank loan to industrial structure after studying the development situation at home and abroad. then, in order to verify the hypothesis, this paper selects the panel data of 31 provinces and regions in China from 2001 to2013 by using Eviews from the perspective of the loan scale, structure and efficiency to analyze the impact of the bank loan to industrialstructure in the nation wide and the area, and try to find out the contribution of bank loan to industrial structure and the differences among areas. The empirical analysis draws three result. The first result is that the scale of bank loan form the view of the nation wide or the area has significant positive effect on the industrial structure. The second result is that the structure of bank loan form the level of the nation wide has a significant positive effect on the industrial structure, but form the view of the area the structure of bank loan has a significant positive impact only in the central region. The last result is that the efficiency of bank loan only in the eastern region has a significant effect. Finally,according to the results of the study,this research provides some suggestions and countermeasures form three aspects to promote transformation and upgrading of industrial structure.the first suggestion is deepening the reform of the banking system and improving the efficiency of utility of bank loan. The second is optimizing the funds. The last is to formulate relevant laws from the perspective of country so as to promote the transformation and upgrading of industrial structure.
