The Study On The Competitiveness Evaluation Of China High-speed Rail Industry

As more and more people enjoy the way of high-speed rail, CRH--as one of the representatives of the domestic high-level equipment manufacturing industries, has made the pace of "going out" in recent years. Since the technology was introduced into China in 2004, we have achieved great progress of high-speed rail. This thesis firstly summarizes the history of the high-speed rails and the features of each system of developed countries such as Japan, France, Germany and Canada, then summarizes the history of high-speed rail in our country. Secondly, this thesis analyzes the environment faced by domestic high-speed rail industry which is based on the SWOT model. At the end, the thesis studies the current competitiveness of domestic high-speed rail industry using a competitiveness evaluation system from three levels:the result of the past, the current ability and the potential ability. Based on the advantages and disadvantages analyzed in the development of China high-speed rail industry, some measures to enhance its international competitiveness was advised. Besides, enlightenment for other high-level manufacturing industries in China to compete on the international markets was proposed.
