Facing the world civil aircraft market competition environment and the actual situation of China's aviation industry, our country will develop turboprop regional aircraft as a strategic target for the development of China's civil aircraft industry, strive to make the turboprop regional aircraft industry bigger and stronger within 20 years, and become the first in the world. For the practice of turboprop regional aircraft development goals, the domestic new turboprop aircraft a ton in the preparatory process, the expert group puts forward "strengthen market research and analysis, and clarify the basic product positioning, absorption potential users involved in the work", in this thesis, under the background of the study on product positioning of the new turboprop aircraft.This paper firstly describe the series of existing turboprop product, briefly analyze the lack of development of new product line of new product in one company; Secondly, through in-depth analysis of the global turboprop aircraft industry operators, purpose, order and delivery, storage, retirement and regional difference characteristics, clarify the development trend in the future; Again, systematically study turboprop aircraft operating within the territory of competition index, purchase index, the performance on the plane, put forward new and preliminary turboprop aircraft product positioning scheme; Then, through interviews among global turboprop aircraft operators as the potential customers and industry experts, deeply research target customer market demand for new turboprop aircraft products, operational indicators and performance requirements; Finally, the verify the market research result of custom validation and compare the analysis, forecasts the new turboprop aircraft market demand, clarify the new turboprop aircraft product design index, put forward new turboprop aircraft product positioning proposals.In this paper, through analyzing the turboprop aircraft product positioning, provides powerful support for the project.
