China's blood products industry has formed a certain scale. More than 30 enterprises engage in the production of blood products in the country,some of them have a certain scale with relatively complete product range. The basic blood products have been achieved independent production in the domestic. The 12 th Five-Year Plan will study a series of supportive policies to support the blood products industry, including the inclusion in the National Essential Drugs List, and proposing double plan in the industry. In the future development of China's blood products industry, on the one hand is to expand the enterprise scale, on the other hand is to improve the capability of independent innovation, the use of new techniques and methods to improve the utilization of the plasma.Shanghai RAAS Blood Products Co., Ltd. as a formation of blood products enterprises of a certain size, faces several threats of competition. Plasma resources are lack in upstream which limits the further development of the company. The new plant has been under construction with 1,000 tons of production scale which requires company to open up new upstream resources as soon as possible. And other large companies have begun to merger in the country. Hualan and China Bio Group have more plasma resources and bigger market. Major international enterprise products begin to enter the Chinese market. And recombinant products in foreign countries have been on market, which compete with the product of the plasma source. The internal management issues are effect Shanghai RAAR. In terms of the future, Shanghai RAAS Blood Products Co., Ltd., will face crisis and challenges with enormous development opportunities.This project will be based on the general theory of strategic management, on the basis of the status quo and development trend analysis, using of the strategic analysis of the basic model, to systematic analyze the external environment(macro and industry environment) and the internal conditions of the development of Shanghai RAAS Blood Products Co., Ltd. to Select and development of strategic advice, implementation of the strategy and strategic protection plan.
