Workplace Ostracism(WOS) is a very typical workplace cold violence which is widespread in all kinds of businesses and organizations. As a negative interpersonal experiences, workplace ostracism will not only bring pain and mental anguish to ostracized employees which resulting in decreased ability of individual self-regulation, but also cause more damage to the enterprise, increase the cost of organization, influence enterprise performance and development. so far, the research of workplace ostracism is aim at the ordinary employees, not the business managers. The business managers work on the management coordination and control, which will suffer more when they feel ostracism. Therefore, to start from the workplace ostracism of the business managers, and lead the counterproductive work behavior into the research between workplace ostracism and job performance is of important practical research value.On the basis of the study of how workplace ostracism affect the job performance of business managers, the paper introduces another negative feelings-counterproductive work behavior. We take the workplace ostracism as the starting point, to study the influence of the workplace ostracism of business managers to their counterproductive work behavior, and then explore the influence between the counterproductive work behavior and job performance. Firstly, based on the scales which have been proved mature no matter in domestic or foreign studies, this paper modifies the scales according to the actual situation, and then the workplace ostracism, counterproductive work behavior and job performance scales were drawn on. And though the investigation and analysis of small samples, we tested the reliability and validity of the workplace ostracism, counterproductive work behavior and job performance scales. Then according to the results of analysis, we made correction to the scales in order to fit for the actual situation of this study. Secondly, Empirical approach were being used to conduct the correlation and regression analysis of the relationship between the workplace ostracism, counterproductive work behavior and job performance among business managers. And whether the counterproductive behavior has mediating effect between workplace ostracism and job performance has been checked. Finally, based on the results of statistical analysis, the hypotheses were tested. And then though the discussion about the results, some management suggestion was put forward.The main conclusions of this study are: the workplace ostracism of business managers has a significant negative effect on their job performance; the workplace ostracism of business managers has significant positive effect on their counterproductive work behavior; the counterproductive work behaviors of business managers have a significant negative effect on their job performance; and the counterproductive behaviors play a mediating role, the workplace ostracism through positively influence counterproductive work behavior then put a negative impact on job performance. The conclusion of the study is an addition to workplace ostracism, counterproductive work behavior and job performance, has a certain theoretical and practical significance.
