Research On The Thermoelectric Business Development Strategy Of Kailuan Group

Kailuan group's coal and electricity integration project, which will practice the reform of electricity systems and be benefit to be listed, is an important opportunity for us, meanwhile it can promote enterprise strategic transformation. Based on the comparative advantages of resources, the project will actively build “coal- heat – electricity- network –area”pattern with the regional development planning. It will improve the level of thermoelectric business development on the basis of coal, with cogeneration as the theme, and help enterprise to transit and upgrade,according to the construction of enterprise internal market, based on enterprise self-provided power grid. This paper analyses the feasibility of coal and electricity integration of Kailuan group, with the SWOT model, Porter five model tools, meanwhile I adopted Documentary Analysis, method of Typicas Cottom Interview and empirical study during the writing course.Firstly, this paper introduces the background, the significance of development strategy of coal and electricity integration, then it concerns the core concept and the related theory. Apart from those, it reviews the related research progress at home and abroad. At the end of this part,it states it is necessary to focus on the project research because Kailuan Group are standing at the point where we advance coal and electricity integration project.Secondly, the paper discusses the internal and external conditions of thermal power business development with the SWOT model. It analyses the strategic development of coal and electricity integration, for example its external challenges, internal advantage and disadvantage. We draw a conclusion that there are more opportunities than challenges, more advantages than disadvantages.Thirdly, the paper explains the key tasks of coal electricity integration strategy development. It points out that we should coordinate the development of power supply in Hebeiprovince and energy consumption prediction, focusing on the feasibility of high quality project. We should establish reasonable development and construction sequence in accordance with the previous work situation, plan layout, construction conditions,environmental requirements and so on.Finally, the paper targets the guarantee measures of the strategy implementation,especially in funds, manpower, management, and it states that the implementation of the project should be prepared for war during the peace times as all of other enterprise strategies.
